Throughout the years M&S has been underpinning the nation, providing new and stylish designs and lingerie solutions for women of all ages, shapes and sizes. Fashion trends of the moment have influenced designs, while fabrications have advanced to allow for a huge development in product ranges. During the course of this time M&S has been committed to providing revolutionary innovations from post-surgery and high impact sports bras to machine washable under-wired bras and silks, all led by a team of lingerie experts.
With currently 32 million customers M&S has established itself as the nation’s go-to destination for lingerie, with 100% of its range being own brand and designed to be completely inclusive. One in three women in the UK wear an M&S bra, with over 20 million sold each year. Over 60 million pairs of knickers are sold each year, with sizes ranging from 6 to 28.
Looking back at the original style (pictured above) from the extensive M&S archive, the team developed the design using modern construction techniques and updated fabrics, to create a contemporary version. An underwired style has also been introduced to cater for a wider range of customers.
Available in magenta, black and almond the M&S Collection Trellis Lace bra £14, and knicker £6, will be available from September 2016.
