bucket list

If you’re anything like the His & Hers team, the run-up to Christmas has probably involved a flurry of activity – from deadlines to hit and presents to pick to festive plans to make. However, once the dust has settled and you’ve finished work, strangely, what began as one of the most hectic months of the year can sometimes become one of the most tranquil.

So if you’re finally starting to unwind and enjoy having a little time away from your desk, this could be the perfect time to start making some plans for the New Year. Here are a few top tips from His & Hers to make 2019 memorable for all the right reasons…

Travel in Style:

In our day-to-day lives, travel tends to be far from luxurious! And the daily commute to work or motorway driving at the weekend is unlikely to fill your heart with joy. So if you’re planning a big trip away, why not change this dynamic and make the journey as exciting as the destination. VistaJet has arranged for numerous heads of state and business leaders to travel in style, and can offer you an incredibly luxurious way to travel without the need to own your own aircraft! Also, if you’re planning on proposing in 2019, doing so aboard a VistaJet would certainly make a big impression!

Work on your Wish List:

If you have hundreds of places that you’d love to visit, but you don’t have a limitless amount of time to travel, now’s the time to start whittling down your wish list. Focus on the destinations that you’d most like to visit and which you know will be affordable for you in the New Year. Then start putting some plans in place. It’s surprising how much happier you tend to feel when you start taking some steps to make your travel dreams a reality.

Make time for the people you love:

Sometimes we think that our goals for a new year should involve big investments and grand gestures. However, when looking back on 2018, many of your favourite memories have probably involved simply spending time with the people you love. So make sure you get some simple plans in the diary, such as dinner in your favourite restaurant with a few of your favourite people. Also, we all love to reminisce about our favourite times, so if you have a big event coming up with your family and friends, it could be worth saving up to book a professional photographer who can create plenty of beautiful photographs to mark the occasion.

If you’ve been working on your 2019 bucket list, we’d love to hear from you. Please tell us about your plans for the year ahead (or any recommendations for once-in-a-lifetime experiences worth booking this year!)
