CELEBRATE IN STYLE THIS EASTER SUNDAY AND INDULGE IN A TWO COURSE MEAL FOR JUST £19.50, OR MAKE IT EXTRA SPECIAL WITH THREE COURSES FOR JUST £22.50. IF YOU BRING THE CHILDREN, THEY EVEN GET AN EASTER SURPRISE!
Mark Tasker, general manager at Hotel Indigo Liverpool, said: “Spring is very much in the air in the restaurant and we are looking forward to welcoming our guests this Easter Sunday. Our head chef and his team will create Marco-inspired magic in the kitchen, serving up classic seasonal favourites and heavenly treats for the holiday.”
Diners can hop into a starter of whipped brie and candied walnut salad, with pea shoot honey mustard dressing, or how about trying the beef shin and barley broth with crusty home-made soda bread, or you can really heat things up with the crispy oyster mushroom pancakes, spring onion, cucumber, hoi sin and chilli sauce.
It wouldn’t be Easter without lamb, right? Tickle the tastebuds with Marco’s twist on this traditional favourite of rosemary and garlic roast leg of lamb, with Boulanger potatoes, minted peas and roasted butter nut squash. Or alternatively, try a taste of India with spicy puy red lentil and bean chilli, with garlic and coriander flat bread, and lime and saffron sour cream.
And as it’s Easter we need no excuse to enjoy one of Marco’s delicious puddings. Choose from rhubarb and ginger cheesecake with sweet rhubarb crisp and stem ginger ice cream, or traditional hot cross bread and butter pudding with chocolate anglaise, or the aptly timed creamy egg custard tart with nutmeg ice cream.
You can also treat a loved one to one of Marco’s online gift vouchers too – beats an Easter egg any time!
