Maya Blue

This is a truly important date in the calendar for His & Hers. I am not exactly a disinterested by-stander (being a mother myself), but that would never sway me to overestimate the significance of this day.

Feature by Jean Hill

I am writing this article on National Scouse Day and recollecting my childhood. My mother, an impressive cook, made scouse nearly every week. The correct ingredients, in her considered opinion were: both neck end of lamb and beef brisket, carrots, swede, onions, fresh herbs of choice, stock and a dash or two of Lea & Perrins. I can still picture her in her kitchen, book open on the kitchen table with food bubbling on the hob.

Caviar House & Prunier Piccadilly

Caviar House & Prunier introduces its exclusive Afternoon Tea at its flagship 161 Piccadilly, London, location.

Renowned for its range of caviar, Caviar House & Prunier elevates the cherished British tradition of afternoon tea with its combination of caviar and seafood.

For £110 per person, you can enjoy a lavish spread accompanied by artisan tea. For those seeking an extra touch of opulence, the champagne or cocktail pairing,  at £125 per person, promises to perfectly complement the experience.

Start with a freshly baked scone selection, served with Balik salmon fillet, crème fraîche and the finest caviar. The melding of flavours creates a harmonious balance of richness and delicacy.

The savoury selection continues the seafood theme. Sink your teeth into a prawn brioche roll packed with succulent prawns and subtly enhanced with the secret house sauce. Last but certainly not least, the pièce de résistance – a toasted grilled egg sandwich topped with caviar.

Caviar features as a unique addition to classic pastry delights such as lemon tarte, macarons, and petits fours.
