Maritime Dining Room
Hosted by National Museums Liverpool is giving guests the chance to dine in one of the city’s most iconic buildings this Christmas.
Ideal for a celebratory office lunch or a social gathering among friends and family, festive lunch at the Maritime Dining Room promise a seasonally inspired menu complete with spectacular views across the Royal Albert Dock and Liverpool’s waterfront.
Served on the top floor of Merseyside Maritime Museum, guests can enjoy an incredible sharing board of roast meats with all the trimmings followed by mouth-watering desserts in the historic surroundings of the Grade I listed building.
Menu highlights include turkey roulade and a vegetarian roasted butternut squash with chestnut and sage crumb, followed by milk chocolate and bourbon bread pudding or Christmas cherry and fig pavlova with Chantilly cream, all prepared by the museums’ in-house team of chefs.

Suites Hotel & Spa (Festive Menus)
Suites Hotel & Spa is offering a variety of Christmas lunches for the 2019 festive season.
Served from December 1 to December 22 in Handley’s Brasserie the menu includes Chef’s Homemade Soup, Traditional Turkey or Beef Roast Dinner with all of the Trimmings, and Christmas Pudding with Brandy Sauce all for £14.95pp.
The four-star hotel in Knowsley will be giving guests the perfect excuse to take a well-deserved rest from all the stresses of Christmas shopping with a delectable Festive Afternoon Tea, which includes Handmade Sandwiches and Freshly Made Scones along with Tea and Coffee.
For those with little ones, Sunday Lunch with Santa will be taking place on December 8 and December 15. Visitors can have their photo taken with Father Christmas himself and tuck into a three-course meal of Pan-Fried Chicken Supreme or Mushroom Wellington, followed by Mincemeat Frangipane Tart with a delicious children’s menu also available.
Afternoon Tea is priced at £14.95 per person, or £19.95 with a glass of fizz.
Sunday Lunch with Santa is priced at £22.95 for an adult, £12 for the children’s menu and £14.50 for a half portion for children.

Trattoria 51
Trattoria 51 will offer up a trio of Christmas menus at its Southport and Liverpool restaurants, served throughout the festival period.
The three menus, which are named with the Italian flag in mind, boast a selection of classic Italian dishes and some yuletide favourites. Guests can choose from the Menu Verde (green), the Menu Bianco (white) and the Menu Rosso (red).
Highlights from the various menus include a selection of Italian Antipasti for starter, Traditional Roast Turkey and Seabass Fillet for main and Zuccotto Panettone for dessert. Other delicious dishes available at Trattoria 51 include Beef Stroganoff, Homemade Ravioli and Classic Tiramisu.
Menu Verde is priced at £15.95, Menu Bianco is priced at £19.95, whilst the Menu Rosso can be booked for £29.95.
All three menus are available at Trattoria 51’s Whitechapel, Old Hall Street and Southport restaurants.
Old Hall Street will also be open on Christmas Day when a special £51 menu will be available along with a children’s menu for £21.

The Brink
With Christmas just around the corner, The Brink has unveiled its festive food and drink offering.
To kickstart the yuletide celebrations, the Parr Street venue has prepared a Christmas menu alongside a selection of alcohol-free drinks, perfect for a work lunch or an evening with friends and family.
The dry bar will be serving up a selection of seasonally inspired drinks including ‘Christmas Tonic’ (a warming concoction of Apple and Elderflower with Winter Spice Syrup and Fresh Lemon Slices), Peppermint Hot Chocolate (available in Milk, Dark and White Chocolate) alongside a refreshing ‘Christmas Sours’ (a cold drink made using Tonic Water, Cardamom, Lemon, Lime, Cinnamon and Orange Zest).
Menu highlights include Homemade Soup and Chicken Liver Pâté to start followed by a Roast Turkey Dinner with all the trimmings. Diners can also opt for Fillet of Salmon or a vegetarian Special Nut Roast.
Known for its freshly made cakes available all year round, The Brink’s festive desserts offer the perfect sweet treat and include Christmas Pudding served with Custard or Chocolate Brownies with Ice Cream and Chocolate Sauce.
Owned by the charity Action on Addiction, The Brink has community interest at its heart and was established to support those recovering from addiction whilst offering a vibrant and welcoming space for all.
The Brink’s Christmas menu is priced at £12 for two courses or £15 for three courses. All three course festive meals come with complimentary tea or coffee and a homemade mince pie.
The limited-edition menu is available until December 23, Monday to Friday. Pre-booking is essential.

The Greenroom
The Greenroom has a stellar run of events lined up for December, suitable for parties, couples and everyone in between looking for a Christmas night out with a twist.
The Duke Street cabaret lounge is an intimate, Vegas-style venue with table service, showcasing some of the best tribute and comedy acts from across the UK.
On December 20 Boyband Reunion returns with standout choreographed routines copied exactly from acts such as Take That, Boyzone and Five, while Big Men In Town, the tribute band for Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, take to the stage onDecember 21 with all the best Jersey Boys’ hits including ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’ and ‘Sherry’. The following day, ‘The Greenroom’s Annual Comedy P*ss Up’ will welcome some of the UK’s best comedians for a hilarious festive event.

Delifonseca
The festive season has arrived at Delifonseca Dockside as it prepares for its busiest Christmas yet.
With the addition of its new restaurant space alongside an on-site food hall, the multi-award-winning foodie establishment is offering everything from a seasonal December menu right through to bespoke hampers and culinary treats that make the perfect gift.
As part of Delifonseca’s Christmas menu, diners can expect a sharing platter to start, including Beetroot Cured Salmon with Salmon Caviar & Crème Fraiche and Red Pepper & Squash Arancini. For mains, options include the likes of Turkey Wellington with Pigs in Blankets, Roasties, Red Cabbage, Carrots & Brussels Sprouts or a Spinach Gnocchi with Cheshire Blue Cheese, Butternut Squash, Wild Mushroom & Champagne Cream to name a few.
