LIVERPOOL IS A GEM OF A CITY, WE ALL KNOW IT MIGHT AS WELL BE THE CAPITAL OF THE UK. THE CITY IS SO VIBRANT, ALIVE, CULTURED AND FULL OF CHARM, AND ARGUABLY WITH FRIENDLIER FOLK AND CHEAPER RENT THAN DOWN IN LONDON. WHENEVER WE HAVE OUR PALS COME AND VISIT US, IT’S ALWAYS IMPORTANT TO MAKE SURE THEY HAVE A GOOD IMPRESSION. HERE WE HAVE COMPILED A LIST OF THE FIVE BEST SPOTS IN LIVERPOOL THAT ARE WORTH SHOWING OFF.
Baltic Market
Baltic Market is Liverpool’s first food hall, which only opened a couple of months ago and has already become a favourite for Liverpool foodies. Whether you’re picky or a lover of all foods, Baltic Market has something to satisfy everyone’s palates. This former brewery plays host to some amazing bars, food stands and farmers markets every week, and it is an absolute mecca for hipsters. The venue is always buzzing with activity and is the perfect hub for any social gathering.
Bakchich
Liverpool is home to some amazing international dishes, and Middle Eastern cuisine is no exception. Bakchich serves some of the best Lebanese food in the city. Start off with a hot or cold mezze and enjoy some classics such as baba ganoush, hummus dishes and falafels, before moving onto a delicious meal such as the Lamb Shwarma Wrap or a Mixed Grill Meshawi. Each meal is truly delicious and whether you’re dipping your toes into Middle Eastern cuisine or a seasoned pro, you won’t be disappointed. If you don’t feel like going to a restaurant and just want to fuel up at home before hitting the town, you can get Deliveroo to send it to your door.
