Information on some of the vendors:

KO Grill has been a great success on Bold Street. It is very much a family enterprise. There is a large mix of tastes and influences. You can choose from Middle Eastern staples such as hummus and tabbouleh, as well as Indian and Pakistani curries. The meat is charcoal grilled to perfection. Their food has been described as genuine, heartfelt and authentic. A selection of this food will be on offer at DDC.

Blackberry Grove is an award winning restaurant from New Brighton. It will be open every day from 8am-11pm (from the middle of July). Breakfast includes meat, vegetarian and vegan options. Brunches lead on to lunches and ‘big bites’. There’s chilled wine, a selection of beers and awesome cocktails. There’s an avocado, tomato, basil, chilli and lime sandwich that has my name on it. There is also mention of home-made cakes, with a vegan option.

Caffe Cream is an award winning ice cream parlour from New Brighton. They will be offering mouth-watering gelato. Their clotted cream and blueberry flavour is my own personal favourite.

Izakaya delivers on superb Japanese sushi, and specialities, in spades. There is a small, perfectly formed restaurant in Castle Street. It feels like a refined Japanese equivalent of a tapas bar. Mixing and matching delicious food is their hall-mark, and there will a fine selection on offer at DDC.

Cowfish Smokehouse specialises in traditional wood smoked bar-b-q. Their nachos, salsa and cheese sauce combo is awesome.

DDC brings together, in vibrant spirit, food that caters for a wide variety of dietary requirements. This is a venue that offers a rich social experience. Watch this space!
