Celebrating 75 years of the National Health Service, NHS workers are invited to eat for free at Gaucho restaurants nationwide on Wednesday 5th July as a thank you to those working tirelessly to treat over a million people a day in the UK.
A longstanding champion of the NHS, Gaucho supported frontline healthcare workers throughout the pandemic, providing over 1,000 meals a week and hosting a dinner of appreciation at M Threadneedle St, inviting over 300 nurses and doctors from the NHS to give thanks for their lifesaving work and sacrifice.
Guests can enjoy up to three courses from Gaucho’s Set Menu – featuring ceviche starters, carbon neutral steaks and decadent desserts, showcasing regeneratively farmed British beef and other ethically sourced ingredients.
Available for both bookings and walk-ins at all venues, free meals for NHS workers will be redeemable on 5th July, by showing proof of work via NHS ID card, from 12pm to 6.30pm.
“At Gaucho, we are delighted to celebrate NHS workers with this gesture. Restaurants, when at their best are an integral part of the community and we are proud to support our amazing NHS heroes and hope other restaurants will follow suit to do the same.” Gaucho and M Restaurants, CEO and Founder, Martin Williams.
