NOVA RESTAURANT IN HESWALL, WIRRAL, IS SET TO HOST A WINE TASTING EVENING ON WEDNESDAY 28TH SEPTEMBER.


 

As part of the evening, guests will have the chance to enjoy a five course menu, which has been perfectly paired with specially selected wines from Boutinot Wines.

The menu for the evening includes canapes served with La Vida al Camp Cava Brut Rosé (Penedes); Chicken Consommé, Woodland Mushroom Tortellini accompanied by Ontañón Vetiver Rioja Blanco; and Seared Scallops and Vanilla Parsnips, paired with Capricho Val de Paxariñas Godello (Bierzo). The menu also includes Roasted Loin of Venison, Chevril Root, Spinach and Mushroom, served with Juan Gil Silver Label (12 Meses) Monastrell (Jumilla) and Popcorn Parfait, Popcorn Crumb and Butter Gel, paired with Gorka Izagirre Arima Late Harvest (Bizkaiko Txakolina).

Jana and Moyo Benson, owners of the family run restaurant, are looking forward to welcoming guests to the wine tasting event.

Moyo, who is also head chef at Nova Restaurant, said: “This will be a fantastic opportunity for people to experience a really special menu with wines that are perfectly matched. The evening is set to be a real treat whether you consider yourself a wine connoisseur or you simply want to learn more about fine wines.”

Tables must be pre-booked for the evening, which includes a five course meal with matching wine, is priced at £55 per person.
