WE LOVE NOTHING MORE THAN BEAUTIFULLY BLOW DRIED HAIR, AND, OF COURSE, ANY PRODUCTS THAT ALLOW US TO GET THE MOST OUT OF OUR BLOW DRIES ARE A MUST HAVE FOR US.
Marks and Spencer have announced the launch of an exciting product collaboration with award winning hair salon collective, Rush.
Rush Salon have released Command & Control Ultimate Blow Dry Lotion and Survive & Revive Dry Shampoo, which have been miracle products for the His & Hers team this week. If you’re as busy as we are, these new products represent the easiest way to maximise your blow dry and save serious time from your morning routine.
Kim Kardashian-West lives by the blow dry five day rule; “I start out with a blow dry on day one, then I go into a messier vibe using dry shampoo the next day, and then I flat iron it and do a really sleek look on day three since that requires a little oil on the hair. Day four could be a slicked back pony tail, and on the fifth day is when you wash it”
Rush Artistic Team member, Paolo Pinto agrees with Kim Kardashian-West. “Over washing your hair is a sin, use Rush salon products to save your blow dry!”
On day one, we used the Rush Salon Command & Control Ultimate Blow Dry Lotion. The multi purpose conditioning blow dry lotion provided the foundation of a gorgeous blow dry. It calms frizz, and, depending on your hair type, it defines curls and smooths straight hair, leaving it beautifully soft to touch.
On day two and three, we used the Survive & Revive Dry Shampoo, which gave hair an instant refresh, and is so light it left no tell tale white residue. The lightly fragranced blend has a sweet smell that lasts all day. The roots can also be backcombed for extra volume, texture and that just blow-dried look.
Command & Control Ultimate Blow Dry Lotion £6.00
Survive & Revive Dry Shampoo £5.00
Creative Director and Co-Founder Stelios Andrew explains: “We specialise in hair with strength and movement and the styles we create for the catwalk have an international impact and are under intense scrutiny from the fashion pack. Therefore, our looks simply must measure up. Our initial aim was to create a capsule line of products that would allow the Team to deliver the looks designers and editors needed, quickly. We wanted only essential products, no frippery, using the highest quality ingredients available. After discussing with clients in-salon we quickly realised that the requisites for the range weren’t solely those of our Artistic Team and consumers also wanted access to a fantastic range of no-nonsense, hero products that look beautiful, smell amazing and achieve the desired look without fuss too.”
“We were delighted when Marks and Spencer wanted to work with us to bring the styling products to market. For a relatively new British brand like Rush to be welcomed into the M&S beauty stable is a great honour and testament to the quality of the range.”
