His & Hers was pleased to hear that The Restory has formed its first regional partnership with Selfridges Trafford, launching in-store from 22nd July 2019. Global from day one, the on-demand service provided by The Restory has seen a significant increase in volumes nationally. This launch marks the second major UK retail partnership for the company and the first drop point outside London.
The Restory, the leading innovators in the luxury aftercare of leather goods, are redefining the market by creating a global brand experience for luxury consumers. Combining the art of the craft with the power of technology, The Restory provides after-care for consumers who have invested in the brands they love. By partnering with Selfridges Trafford, The Restory will provide the store’s clients with a trusted partner for post-purchase services.
The Restory’s in-store display within the Selfridges Trafford Accessories Hall, located on the ground floor, will showcase the capabilities of the service through visual storytelling, with display pieces that aim to inspire and educate clients on the infinite possibilities available through revival, repair and reimagination.
The service itself is designed to be simple to use – items such as shoes, bags and other small leather goods will be securely received instore before being packaged and shipped to The Restory’s London-based atelier. At this stage, a team of experts will carefully assess the item and provide an online quote, with clients given the opportunity to then accept, query or decline the quote. Post-approval, The Restory’s elite team of next-generation artisans provide the services. When work is completed, the items are beautifully packaged and can be shipped back to Selfridges Trafford or to a convenient location in the UK, free of charge. International shipping is also available.
