Wirral’s independent food and shopping destination announces a dedicated pet-lovers weekend…
The team behind Woodside Ferry Village are once again joining forces with Independent Wirral partners to bring a weekend of animal magic to Wirral.
The Woodside ‘Pet Fest’ will showcase a range of pet-related products from treats and toys to clothing, food and grooming ideas. Organisers say there will be a host of animal themed activities on offer too, including a dog agility display and pet inspired face-painting. There will even be an opportunity to meet Tranmere Rovers’ very own ‘Rover The Dog’ and try your hand at scoring a goal against the much loved mascot!
The event, which will run from Saturday 26th-Sunday 27th June (11am -6pm), is 100% pet friendly and there will even be a competition for the ‘prettiest pet’ running throughout the weekend.
Woodside Area CIC Managing Director Sharon Stanton said: “We are all huge animal lovers here at Woodside and on the back of the success of our Independent Market events, we wanted to create a special weekend dedicated to our furry and not so furry friends! Wirral has some really innovative pet-related businesses so we thought this was a great way of showcasing this.”
The 24 market chalets will be packed with specialist retailers and animal related services, perfect for pet lovers and a great day out for the whole family.
