LOCAL MINDFULNESS SPECIALISTS DAVE SPENCER AND ANDREA CYGLER ARE TO LAUNCH THE INTERNATIONALLY ACCLAIMED BREATHWORKS MINDFULNESS COURSES IN LIVERPOOL.


 

Mindfulness for Stress is accepting its first intake now, and will run in October 2016 under their new brand Mindfulness Liverpool. Mindfulness for Health will follow shortly.

The Breathworks Mindfulness for Stress course teaches techniques to help improve quality of life, in a world that will always present potentially stressful situations. For participants, it won’t change the world but it could change their relationship to it. Specifically, it is designed to provide techniques that help people respond to the problems that they face in all areas of life.

Mindfulness is a proven and trusted field. Increasing numbers of individuals and organisations are turning to mindfulness techniques every day, as new studies are undertaken and their impressive results published. Oxford Mindfulness Centre, part of the University of Oxford, states that ‘people who have learned mindfulness experience long-lasting physical and psychological stress reduction’ as well as many other physical and emotional benefits. Indeed, Breathworks itself is engaged to advise the Government on creating policy for ‘a more mindful nation’.

Breathworks is one of the world’s leading mindfulness and compassion training organisations. The company has produced award winning books and CD’s on mindfulness and worked alongside numerous universities and training organisations. Dave Spencer and Andrea Cygler are both accredited Breathworks trainers, as well as sought after mindfulness gurus in their own right. Together they operate as Mindfulness Liverpool.
