M∙A∙C SENIOR ARTIST, REBECCA BUTTERWORTH, TOOK SOME RARE TIME OUT OF HER BUSY SCHEDULE TO SHARE WITH US TWO KEY LOOKS AND HER BACKSTAGE HERO PRODUCTS FROM SPRING/SUMMER FASHION WEEK.
LONDON
“The key colour for SS16 is blue in all its hues: from cobalt to aqua to turquoise. At Jonathan Saunders we used M∙A∙C ‘Waveline’ Fluidline, a deep navy blue, with the M∙A∙C #209 liner brush to line and define the totality of the lash line, creating a clean, tough version of a Lady Di-liner.”
Fluidline, £16.00
MILAN
“Milan was all about the ‘beautiful tan’ – luxe metallic textures on the eyes and cheeks set against a raw, tanned skin. My two key products for Milan were M∙A∙C ‘Indian Wood’ Pro Longwear PaintPot and M∙A∙C ‘Golden’ Beauty Balm Bronzer Cream Compact. The paintpot is a creamy metallic eyeshadow in a flattering shade of bronze-gold which we used all over the eye at Elizabetta Franci. The Beauty Balm Compact is the perfect on the go bronze – the cream makes it melt into the skin for perfectly real tanning.”
Pro Longwear PaintPot, £16 & Beauty Balm Compact, £25
