TOMORROW, 24TH MARCH, ONE OF SPRING’S MOST EXCITING COLLABORATIONS IS GOING TO BE LAUNCHED. WHISTLES HAVE TEAMED UP WITH CULT JAPANESE BRAND BUDDY ON A CAPSULE COLLECTION OF UNISEX BAGS AND SHOES, COMBINING CONTEMPORARY BRITISH DESIGN WITH PAIRED BACK SILHOUETTES AND PREMIUM JAPANESE MANUFACTURING.
The collection includes smooth finish white leather sneakers, suede trainers, a leather coin wallet in grey, a navy leather bi-fold wallet, two canvas totes in mustard and navy, and a functional roll top back-pack in grey.
In celebration of the Buddy’s love of dogs, the whistles x buddy collection was shot with and named after a few of Whistle’s resident buddies.

TAKE US THROUGH THE SPECIAL DETAILS OF THE WHISTLES X BUDDY HAPPY PRODUCT?
“This collaboration model is based on the buddy style, mixed with the sense of WHISTLES to make the products premium. The products put a different colour on the back surface of the parts or changed the small parts in premium materials.”
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE ITEM IN THE WHISTLES X BUDDY COLLECTION?
“Since I first saw the collection, I loved all models. Personally, I think the Roll Top Tote in mustard colour is quite nice and I like white zipper on top detail.”
WHO IS YOUR BUDDY (DOG)?
“Japanese Shiba-dog (Shiba-inu). Because my grandfather lived with him when I was a little. I enjoyed taking him for a walk every time I visited. It was only once in several months but that time was a precious time for me.”
HOW DO YOU STAY HAPPY?
“I stay happy with thinking about new buddy projects. I always hope many people are willing to smile and be excited.”
