Pre-Christmas, Aveda invited Kapucia to deliver a meditation session in Debenhams. This was a relaxing, de-stressing experience. Breathing exercises and concentration help to balance and align the body and spirit. Herbal teas were on hand as part of the therapy. People arrived feeling rushed, and left feeling tranquil. A perfect example of Aveda’s approach to beauty and well-being.
Whether it be hair care or a facial, there is a check list and questionnaire to fill in to personalise the experience. This determines what products will work best for you. Jane (and the whole team) have a wealth of knowledge they want to share.
The Blow Dry Bar is on hand when you need a quick fix, or you need to look your best for an event. There is Dry Remedy shampoo: oil and conditioner. There is Smooth Infusion thickening tonic and Promolient styling foam that gives weightless volume. The staff really know their products and love the brand. The ingredients shine through: pure camomile, pure plant black malva, and rosemary mint.
I could watch the world walk by in Debenhams whilst my hair was blown dry. Because there is an in-depth understanding, the blow dry will look great and last longer. The end result definitely had the wow factor.
Having a facial is a delightful ritual of care. Botanical Kinetics cream cleanser has a light, yet penetrating touch. The Wedding Masque and eye masque are beautifully gentle and nurturing. Different products are geared to work for younger and mature skin types. Tulasāra Oleation Oil felt wonderful. The results of a facial are transforming. My skin had a sheen, that defined bone structure. It glowed vibrantly with an even tone. We left feeling confident and serene. You can check in at the Aveda counter to arrange a facial.
