HIS & HERS ALREADY APPRECIATED THE WORK OF THE CHRISTMAS DECORATORS, WHOSE DAY JOB IS TO CREATE THE MOST EXTRAVAGANT FESTIVE EXPERIENCES FOR THE WORLD’S SUPER RICH.

After all, you have to take your hat off to the people who work hard to make Christmas happen! However, our respect for The Christmas Decorators has just gone up a notch after the company launched its new charity foundation last Thursday (28th September), raising over £20,000 in its first night.

The Christmas Foundation has been set up by The Christmas Decorators, bringing the magic of Christmas to underprivileged and sick children.

Guests at the launch at Liverpool Town Hall were treated to a full evening of holly-jolly entertainment with performances from the star of this year’s X Factor, soul songstress, Shanaya Atkinson-Jones, and winner of BBC One’s Frank Sinatra: Our Way, George Gallagher.

ItKids, Girl Talk, magician Spencer Lynch and Liverpool-based MD Productions’ dance troupe also hit the stage for this spectacular evening.

Paul Lally, MD of The Christmas Decorators, said:

“We bring Christmas to life through some of the most magical experiences across the world, with each year getting bigger and more extravagant. We have always supported charitable causes and given back to our community – we help as many charity requests as we can by installing free Christmas trees and displays for organisations which are set up to help others.

“Over the years we have worked with charities like Alder Hey Children’s Charity, Claire House and Zoe’s Place, where we meet families whose children might not see another Christmas. But we want to do more to help create lasting memories for these parents and their kids and provide a magical Christmas experience for those who may not get to see the kind of festive magic that we create – on any day of the year! Every single child should have a reason to be excited for Christmas and through The Christmas Foundation, we can make that happen!

“This party was just the start of The Christmas Foundation, as we have invited some of our friends along to help us bring Christmas to sick children 365 days a year.”

X-Factor star, Shanaya Atkinson-Jones, commented:

“Christmas is my favourite time of year. I am happy to support The Christmas Foundation and help them to create smiles and lasting memories! Every child deserves to experience the joy that Christmas brings – I myself know how important this is.”

Global teen blogger, Amazing Arabella, also attended the launch to show her support alongside Radio City 2’s Claire Simmo, who hosted the evening.

The Christmas Foundation launched in partnership with Radio City’s Cash for Kids Mission Christmas campaign.

The charity will now be hosting a spectacular Christmas party for 500 underprivileged children at St George’s Hall on December 10. The party is just the start of The Christmas Foundation, who plan to bring Christmas to sick children 365 days a year.
