Delifonseca Dockside is welcoming the return of its popular annual Christmas tasting evening that allows customers to try before they buy on some of the deli’s most loved products.
On November 30th and December 7th, the venue’s new restaurant space and award-winning foodhall will transform into a Christmas wonderland with local suppliers and the in-house team of expert staff all on hand to recommend their top picks for presents and tips to ensure an enviable Christmas Day spread.
Proprietor Candice Fonseca said: “Our tasting evening is a fantastic way to get up close and personal with a range of suppliers, sample some of the best of what we have to offer and speak with our brilliant in-house team, who know these products best. We’ve done a few of these nights now but unfortunately, we had to put them on hold last year due to the pandemic.
“It will be great to welcome the evening back onto our events calendar and this year it will be a bit different as it will also spread into our new dining area. We wanted to make this an opportunity for customers to compose their Christmas pre-order, which can include not just your turkey and cheese but your sprouts, caviar and spuds, plus everything in between. It really is the best way to avoid the queues – just rock up and what you need is ready for when you are.”
The event will also enable customers to purchase gifts, presents, and create Christmas hampers using all the top-quality products that Delifonseca has become known for. Their team of in-house specialists will be on hand to guide customers and provide knowledge on all the best quality produce Liverpool has to offer, with some surprise suppliers also paying a visit.
Delifonseca’s Tasting Evening will take place from 4pm on Tuesday, 30th November and the following Tuesday (7th December) and will give guests the opportunity to speak the team and suppliers whilst also receiving 10% off all purchases on the night.
