Dine away those January blues with great seasonal deals

His & Hers gave me the opportunity to get more acquainted with hospitality and the amazing people who make it happen. I met renowned chefs, who generate passion for their profession; we enjoyed great service from dedicated front of house staff. I love fine dining. We did our best to report back the good news and share our experiences. To say that this has been a privilege does not come close to expressing the conviviality and the sheer joy of it all.

One of the best memories of dining in style in 2022 happened to be Gino D’Acampo’s Old Hall Street restaurant. That along with a breath-taking experience of the 360 Sky Bar (way, way above the restaurant). It comes with spectacular all-encompassing views and Gino’s delicious afternoon tea (summer menu), or cocktails, or beers, or spirits…the possibilities are endless.

There’s some fantastic incentives to be enjoyed at Gino D’Acampo Old Hall Street and 360 Sky Bar too. That includes £10 off all food and drink throughout January (T&Cs apply) and the introduction of a special lunch and early evening menu.

The special incentive is available seven days a week from midday through to midnight (throughout January) and can be redeemed against all food and drink. Meaning that you can enjoy £10 off your favourite Italian dishes, cocktails, coffees, and more.  A minimum spend of £30 applies.

The gift is available to members of the leading Italian chef’s lifestyle and rewards club. Gino Rewards invites guests to enjoy a wide range of incentives throughout the year as well as priority access to events hosted by the leading Italian chef.  Open to all, guests interested in joining can sign up by downloading the Gino Rewards app. Access via the App Store or Google Play or find out more at: https://ginodacampohotelsandleisure.com/gino-rewards/

What’s more, new members will also receive an additional £10 welcome gift to be enjoyed on a separate occasion. The gift is £20 in total, to be enjoyed at any of Gino’s premium restaurant and bars.

For guests looking to beat the January blues and extend the celebrations with family and friends, the upmarket Italian restaurant and bar has also launched a special lunch and early evening menu.

Available from 12pm to 6pm every day, the set menu invites guests to enjoy two courses for £21 and three for £25.  This includes an aperitivi, an Italian pre-dining drink, with options including a glass of Prosecco, an Aperol spritz or Peroni. It presents exceptional value.

The number of featured dishes is generous with six starters and six mains courses to choose from that cater for all dietary requirements.  All have been selected from the Italian chef’s new seasonal menu, which denotes an emphasis on authentic Italian, crowd-pleasing dishes.

Leading the list of starters is San Daniele ham bruschetta with ‘nduja, honey and pistachio. Heritage tomato bruschetta; minestrone; and caprese salad are options. These joined by signature dishes calamari fritti with garlic mayonnaise and lemon; and prawn bruschetta with chilli mayonnaise.

Mains courses are equally satisfying and include a mix of both hearty and lighter options.  Pasta lovers are well catered for with three dishes to choose from. Tagliatelle seafood; rigatoni arrabbiata; and lasagne: a classic dish inspired by Gino’s mamma’s very own recipe are all tempting.

Complementing the trio of pasta options are Gino D’Acampo’s beautiful sea bass with panzanella; earthy wild mushroom risotto; and a chicken Caesar salad. The sea bass is truly epic: I can confirm that.

A selection of optional side plates is available for guests looking to add to their meal. These include truffle cheesy fries (£5.25); garlic & rosemary potatoes (£4.95); and rocket & pecorino salad (£5.).

A range of sweet treats can also be discovered. These include the premium Italian restaurant’s much-celebrated Irish cream panna cotta; tiramisú; and apple & blackberry crostata.
