The Allerton Road eatery’s roast dinner choices include: succulent roast chicken, the restaurant’s renowned roast beef and a vegan loaf option.
East River is launching a new roast dinner menu and it can now be enjoyed both at the restaurant this Sunday 6th December, or it is available for takeaway.
All of East River’s roasts come with roast potatoes, mixed vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and its rather special gravy.
The roasts, which are £12.95 each, are available to takeaway every Sunday, and are on the menu when the restaurant reopens after lockdown on 3rd December.
East River will also be serving up tasty turkey dinners as part of its special Christmas menu in the run up to the festive season. Delicious Christmas sides include pigs in blankets with a sweet mustard dip, deep fried brie balls with a cranberry sauce and sweet potato latkes with chipotle jam.
At the restaurant, East River is also providing a ‘Bottomless Roast’ option which is sure to be as popular as its ‘Bottomless Brunch’. The Bottomless Roast includes unlimited Prosecco or four cocktails for £35. A steal.
Josh Roberts, owner of East River, said: “We’re really excited to finally launch our new roast dinner. The team has been working hard to create the perfect roast – crispy potatoes, our thick gravy, giant Yorkies and succulent meat options (We want) to make sure there’s something for everyone – not forgetting our tasty vegan loaf too!
“Since we’ve all been in lockdown, I’m sure many people can’t wait to get out or have an alternative which means they don’t need to spend hours cooking and washing up after! Our roast, which is available in the restaurant or for collection, is the answer! We’ve also got a great dessert and cocktail menu that’s also available to takeaway too…We can’t wait to welcome our guests when it’s safe to do so.”
Sounds like a goodly plan to me. Can totally recommend the food: I love the traditional approach.
