Acclaimed Spanish tapas restaurant, El Gato Negro, is getting into the festive spirit with a special menu guaranteed to put the fizz into Christmas. Introduced just in time for the seasonal celebration, Tipsy Tapas invites guests to enjoy three small plates from the restaurant’s extensive award-winning menu and bottomless Cava, Bellini, house wine or beer for just £30pp.
Available every Saturday from 12pm to 4pm, it’s the perfect menu for those looking to add a little extra sparkle to a social occasion or simply treat themselves after a hard day’s Christmas shopping. Drinks are available for 90 minutes from the point of order.
Adding to the atmosphere and ensuring the fun flows well into the evening, El Gato Negro is pleased to introduce live music every Friday evening. Commencing at 9pm, guests are invited to pull up a seat at El Gato Negro’s impressive island bar and enjoy the restaurant’s extensive list of cocktails, spirits, wines and beers, whilst being entertained by some of the region’s best local artists.
With seating for 70 and booths available for reservation, it’s the perfect place to both start and end an evening.
El Gato Negro launched at Exchange Flags in August of this year, bringing award-winning Spanish tapas to the heart of Liverpool. Located in historic Walker House, the beautiful restaurant is the perfect space for intimate occasions and celebratory events, providing a private dining room for parties up to 16 and a mix of booth and table dining for 240 people.
Renowned for providing seasonally inspired dishes reflecting a mix of modern and traditional Spanish flavours, with influences from closer to home, the menu features El Gato Negro’s award-winning signature dishes alongside those created by Head Chef, David Sye, especially for the Liverpool restaurant.
Under the tutelage of Chef Patron and Creative Director Simon Shaw, El Gato Negro has garnered widespread critical acclaim and a succession of accolades from Hardens, Michelin, The Times and The Good Food Guide.
Tipsy Tapas features alongside the Exchange Flags restaurant’s main, three for £15 (available Monday to Friday 12pm to 6pm) and Christmas group menu, which invites parties of seven or more to enjoy a wide selection of El Gato Negro’s signature dishes and mouth-watering desserts for just £40pp.
