Childrensalon is a global online retailer that flies the flag for ‘the best of British’. It is high end retail, that showcases children’s outfits from more than 280 prestigious designers. The delightful original shop, dating back to the 1950s, in Royal Tunbridge Wells, is still open for business by appointment. Traditional fine design meets 21st Century state of the art on-line shopping, and yet all this stemmed from a family business.

At Christmas time, His & Hers spread festive joy amongst the young children in our families, with gorgeous teddy bears, and one or two stunning outfits, all courtesy of Childrensalon. The quality is consistent, the price range is wide. A Mayoral girls white organza dress is a snip at £31.00. A Paul Smith Junior boys grey cotton cardigan can be bagged for £68.00.
Check out Baby Balmain new season offerings. For special occasions there are: smart studded black military jacket at £672 and a stunning silver pleated maxi skirt at £465.00.
The Flower Fairies™, a Childrensalon exclusive new season collection, is a delight. Cicely Mary Barker’s fantasy illustrations have been enchanting children and adults alike since they were first published in 1923. Designed in-house and made from the softest combed cotton for added comfort, the magical collection includes premium pyjamas, bathrobes, baby grows, baby accessories and more for boys and girls. The nostalgic designs feature original illustrations of the mythical Flower Fairies™, including The Jasmine Fairy, The Red Clover Fairy, The White Bindweed Fairy and more. The Flower Fairies™ range is adorable. There is a white cotton baby‑grow at £38. Or you might opt for a white cotton blanket at £45, or a pink cotton nightdress at £36. Pyjamas are also in the mix. Something for every girl, and boy.
I read one or two reviews from the Childrensalon website. One described receiving their order in the post, as opening a perfectly wrapped birthday present. That can only be a box of delights.
