Boasting stunning architecture, an impressive bar and restaurant, and service worth tipping generously for, NYL is a firm His & Hers favourite.

Therefore, we jumped at the chance to be amongst the first to catch up with the NYL team to discuss their two new menus, which they’ve launched this summer.

Executive head Chef at the North John Street venue, Rob Scott, and Head Barman, Ben Kearney have worked together with the team to carefully and creatively craft a food and drink offering that gives a real taste of New York with all-new Deli and Cocktail menus, and extra dishes added for lunch and dinner.

Breakfast kicks off at 7am with an unlimited continental selection available until 10am, and Full English available until 12noon for the late risers. The all-new Deli Menu offers a hot and cold sandwich selection with diners able to chose from bagels, toasted ciabatta and sourdough filled with the likes of salmon and cream cheese, pastrami with pickle and mozzarella, macaroni cheese and homemade beef meatballs from just £5.50.

Served from 10am-5pm, the Deli Menu is the perfect choice for shoppers and on-the-go diners to grab a quick and flavourful bite to eat, and for hosting informal business meetings with free Wi-Fi and booths available.

For those with more time on their hands, NYL’s Lunch Menu offers two courses for £15 with a total of six starters and 12 mains to chose from, available 12pm-5pm, including the ever-popular Steak Frites; chargrilled rump steak, skinny fries, house salad and sauce béarnaise.

High quality, locally sourced ingredients are paramount, and have been key to creating our new fresh summertime flavours.”
