Secret Garden

Gino D’Acampo has launched a new secret garden at the home of his popular Old Hall Street restaurant and 360 Sky Bar at INNSiDE by Meliá, Liverpool.

The Secret Garden (which opened on 28th July) is concealed within the heart of INNSiDE Liverpool, and was created following a £300k investment in the hotel, transforming over 400 sqm of a never-before-seen outdoor area into a beautiful open-air oasis.

The launch comes one year after the opening of the leading Italian chef’s impressive 200-cover Old Hall Street restaurant and 360-degree Sky Bar,  with the 170-cover garden, bursting with plants sourced from Italy, promising to raise the bar for alfresco socials in the city.

Guests can expect a vast central 25 metre island bar with high seating for 30 and serving an extensive selection of premium Italian and international wines, cocktails, spirits, and beers; with an open lounge complete with relaxed designer lounge furniture inviting guests to soak up the sun in style and sophistication.

Catering for those looking for a light bite will be Gino’s open outdoor kitchen providing an everchanging incredible cicchetti menu, featuring small Italian plates ideal for sharing.

The Secret Garden’s resident DJs further complete the lifestyle experience playing beats inspired by the best Mediterranean destinations.

Speaking on the launch, Gino D’Acampo said: “I’m super excited to announce the launch of my new Secret Garden at INNSiDE Liverpool.  Alfresco drinking and dining are a big part of  Italian culture. From the moment I saw the space I knew we had to transform it into something special.

“It’s incredible.  I can’t wait to invite Liverpudlians and those visiting this amazing city to join me for a negroni.”

Ensuring an air of exclusivity and promising to be a place to see and be seen, access to the Gino D’Acampo Secret Garden is through the hotel, with guests directed to the first-floor roof terrace.

The Secret Garden is open from 12pm to 10pm, seven days a week.  Guests looking to extend the occasion are invited to continue their evening in Gino’s 18th floor 360 Sky Bar and enjoy stunning views across the city until late.

To celebrate the launch, the leading Italian chef is providing the opportunity for five lucky readers to win an overnight stay at INNSiDE Liverpool and a bottle of champagne for them and a guest in the Secret Garden on him!  To be in with a chance of winning sign up here:  bit.ly/GinosSecretGarden.
