THE CHATSWORTH GARDEN AT CHELSEA WAS A HUGE HIT LAST YEAR (AWARDED BEST IN SHOW) AND YOU CAN SEE ITS INSPIRATION – DESIGNED BY DAN PEARSON SPONSORED BY LAURENT PERRIER CHAMPAGNE – THE REDESIGNED TROUT STREAM.

His & Hers takes a look at a stylish hotel with gardens worth writing about!

The landscape was designed by Lancelot “Capability” Brown – there is a guided tour to mark his tercentenary.  Florabundance – all things florial – transforms the House with a flower festival and the Chatsworth garden team 24 – 28 June.

All this is on the doorstep of the lovely Cavendish Hotel, located on the estate and the closest hotel to Chatsworth.  Guests can walk (approx 20 mins) across the pasture and parkland to the House and Garden or it’s a 2 minutes drive.

With exciting new head chef Alan Hill at the helm, food is of the essence but guests can also expect supreme comfort. Interiors and designs are overseen by the Duchess of Devonshire combining contemporary comfort with traditional elegance.  All bedrooms are individually furnished and some feature four posters, offer views across the countryside and the hotel exudes absolute peace and tranquility.

2017 will see the first RHS Flower Show at Chatsworth, adding to the hugely popular Chelsea, Hampton Court and Tatton Shows.
