Happy New Year to all our readers. Christmas was a time to celebrate with family and loved ones if that was doable. Hospitality delivered some wonderful events to make it the most festive of times. There were Christmas carols: there were servings of piping hot mulled wine (which tasted delicious) and Father Christmas raced from venue to venue at the speed of light. Probably assisted by super-powered reindeer. One or two memorable evenings involved delicious tapas and tasting menus (with the wow factor) and a fabulous atmosphere.
