AS OFFICIAL BEAUTY PARTNER OF BAFTA FOR 16 YEARS, AND NOW BAFTA’S CO-HOST OF THE OFFICIAL NOMINEE PARTY AT KENSINGTON PALACE ON THE 13TH FEB, POPPY JAMIE IS SET TO EXCLUSIVELY COVER THE BAFTA OFFICIAL NOMINEE’S PARTY, AS WELL AS THE RED CARPET LEAD UP AND AWARDS NIGHT ACTION.
As the official party host, Lancôme have enlisted Poppy to capture all the red carpet arrivals and speak to guests inside the party, including very special guest Penélope Cruz. BAFTA are amongst the first British Awards to champion the social channel in the UK, and will allow followers to view behind the scenes best bits recorded by Poppy during her Lancôme Snapchat take over.
Content will include interviews with Lancôme ambassadresses, BAFTA nominees, tips from the elite Lancôme makeup artists charged with prepping the biggest stars and footage of Poppy’s make over before she attends the star studded events as Lancôme’s guest.
Bubbly and fun loving Poppy is known for her red carpet interviews with the likes of Jude Law, the Kardashians, Leonardo DiCaprio, Samuel L Jackson, One Direction and George Clooney who describes her as a “breath of fresh air”.
Poppy was named the first ever face of SNAPCHAT in 2015 after founding her own Snapchat show – Pillow Talk with Poppy. Impressively her show had a reach of over 100 million users on SNAPCHAT which is fast becoming the channel of choice for Social Media users. During the show which aired every Saturday Poppy Jamie would interview her celebrity friends including the likes of Suki Waterhouse, Seth MacFarlane, James Marsden and James Bay who took time out before his performance at Lollapalooza to appear on the show which went on the road for the occasion.
