McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Cheshire Oaks will be supporting Mental Health Awareness Week this year by raising funds for the Mental Health Foundation charity. From 13th to 19th May, the centre will be hosting a selection of free relaxation and fitness classes for shoppers and staff to encourage discussion of the topics of health and wellbeing.
To kick off the week, the centre will host a free 30 minute wellness introduction session, focused on yoga and relaxation. The 9am session, in collaboration with the official charity of Everton Football Club, will take place on the top floor of the centre’s new multi-storey car park on 13th May and will ensure a zen-like start to the day. Whether you’re a newbie or an experienced yogi, shoppers and staff are invited to join. Guests will also be rejuvenated with a range of delicious breakfast snacks and juices provided by health food favourite Leon. Pre-registration on the Cheshire Oaks website is recommended and yoga mats will be provided on a first come, first served basis.
For those looking for something more energetic, fitness fans are invited to test themselves as they train alongside the lovely team at ASICS. The popular running brand will be hosting a cardio session at 9am on 19th May on the top floor of the car park. Budding athletes can pre-register for the free event on the Cheshire Oaks website. If a 30 minute workout with a team of professionals isn’t tempting enough, each guest will also walk away with their very own ASICS goody bag, which will include a metallic water bottle and tote bag!
