new Liverpool show

A new immersive Liverpool show will combine clubbing with theatre as it recreates a real-life rave in a closed-down branch of Toys R Us. Liverpool based Naughty Corner Productions are known for their surreal larger-than-life shows.

Premiered at Glastonbury this summer, Raves R Us is an ambitious, and energetic show, inspired by the true story of a toy shop being used for an illegal rave, with hundreds of party-goers dancing in a former children’s toy shop.

They’ll be joined on the night by house music legends Andy Carroll and Paul Bleasdale for live DJ sets.

Naughty Corner Productions was set up by Mike Dickinson and Jemma Lynch, who created an award-winning independent professional theatre company after they graduated from Edge Hill in 2013.

Winners of multiple awards, including The Sunday Times National Student Drama Festival Award, theSpaceUK New Writing Award, TheDarkChat Edinburgh Fringe Award for Best Play and Best Supporting Actor and Liverpool #6 Best Show of the year for their performance, Not The Horse. They have also worked as Artists in residence with Edge Hill University.

Friday November 8, Camp and Furnace, Baltic Triangle.
