The team at one of Liverpool’s best-loved bistros, The Watering Can in Greenbank Park, is celebrating five action packed years with the launch of their 2024 Spring/Summer menu.

The team behind the Liverpool City Region Tourism multi-award-winning venue have braved a pandemic, floods, social distancing and a cost-of-living crisis to celebrate a milestone birthday and the venue now attracts customers from all over the North West.

An impressive list of celebrity customers have also enjoyed the picturesque venue since they opened the doors back in 2019 including: Jodie Comer, Martin Freeman, Jamie Carragher, Steven Gerrard, Coleen Rooney, Danielle Lloyd, Liz McLarnon, Lucy Meacock, Sean Dyche, Davinia Taylor and a host of Hollyoaks actors and actresses and LFC stars.

This week sees the launch of their 2024 Spring/Summer menu, which embraces all the seasonal ingredients and flavours of summertime. An impressive list of starters, mains, salads and sides is available along with a sandwich selection including the ever-popular posh fish finger sandwich and the summertime favourite, chicken ceasar.

Mains include mini chicken tikka skewers, Thai style fishcakes, pan fried chicken au poivre and a flavoursome aubergine parmigiano.

The new Breakfast menu is equally impressive with everything from a full English (vegetarian and vegan option) to a range of lighter breakfasts including salmon and goat’s cheese toast, fruit salad, artisan toast and salted caramel French toast.

Owner Keith Perryman said: “Our five-year landmark is a very special one for us and the team and we are very proud of what we have built and achieved at The Watering Can. Our new spring/summer menu is bursting with flavour and has something to suit every palette. There are some new dishes and also some customer favourites and it is definitely one of our best menus yet”

With summertime just around the corner, why not while away a couple of hours and say ‘cheers to five years’ at The Watering Can!
