The decorations are up and The Watering Can looks prettier than ever and to celebrate the start of the festive season, their legendary roast dinner has been pimped up with all the Christmas favourites!
One of the most popular Sunday Roasts in the city has had a festive make-over and you won’t be disappointed. With three courses for £34 and two courses for £27 the roast ‘as good as ya ma’s’ just got even better.
Starters include the ever popular Stornoway black pudding Scotch eggs, Wild mushroom parfait, King prawns or Beetroot hummus. The Festive Roast includes Salt-aged Hereford beef rump with Yorkshire pudding, Rare breed porchetta (£3.50 supplement) stuffed with Cumberland sausage, apple sauce and Yorkshire pudding or the Wild mushroom and nut roast, with butter beans, chestnuts and cranberries or the star of the show the Norfolk Black Free-range Turkey with Pork and Leek stuffing and a Yorkshire Pudding. All served with perfect roast potatoes, maple glazed carrots, a green vegetable medley and meat or vegetable gravy.
The sides are where the festive magic happens and include Roasted sprouts with pancetta, Cranberry chipolatas and the most flavoursome Truffle cauliflower cheese.
Be sure to save some room for one of the stunning desserts and choose from either the Clementine posset, Sticky toffee pudding or Tiramisu.
