Regular readers will know that the His & Hers team has a lot of time for the historic Burlington Arcade, and we also have something of an obsession with Manolo Blahnik shoes. So when we heard about Manolo Blahnik’s beautiful anniversary shoe design in honour of Burlington Arcade’s 200th anniversary, it seemed only sensible to down tools and spend some time staring at the shoe in question and generally daydreaming about shoes. We can only apologise if you’ve been attempting to contact us during this period of shoe-related contemplation!

To mark the celebration of Burlington Arcade’s 200th Anniversary, Manolo Blahnik pays homage to the iconic British landmark by designing an exclusive limited-edition style.

The designer opted for one of his classic stiletto silhouettes and decked it in a regency blue satin finished with an embroidered MB rosette.
