With warmer weather on the horizon, Koukash Bar and Restaurant has unveiled a ‘Mediterranean meets the Mersey’ concept to mark a fresh chapter for the city centre eatery.
Located within DoubleTree by Hilton on Sir Thomas Street, Koukash has introduced a host of new sharing platters, nibbles and authentic Mediterranean dishes to whet the appetite of diners counting down to their summer getaways. The menu offers a whistle-stop tour of Greece, Italy, Spain and more from the cool surroundings of its Merseyside home.
The new menu was lovingly devised by the restaurant’s head chef duo, husband and wife team Marc and Claire Lara who bring a wealth of experience to the Koukash kitchen. With over 40 years’ combined experience in the industry, the pair have worked together at Liverpool’s London Carriage Works and Panoramic 34, and previously at the Sofitel in Paris which was awarded a Michelin Star during their tenure. Masterchef fans will also recognise Claire as the first female winner of the BBC’s ‘Professionals’ series of the popular show.
