ENTERTAIN THE CHILDREN THIS HALLOWEEN WITH FREE ACTIVITIES THROUGHOUT A HAUNTED HALF TERM.
Strange things are happening at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Cheshire Oaks this week as all little monsters, wizards and witches are invited to take part in a host of free activities across the centre. Each day will see some freaky fun, with creepy cooking sessions, weird and wonderful craft workshops and Count Dracular dance offs.
The events started on Monday (24th October) and the frightful events for children aged 3 – 11 years are now running every day with a full schedule:
Cooking up a wicked storm – All week
Good witch ‘Gertrude’ and bad witch ‘Brenda’ will be on hand for a wickedly awesome week of making and baking at Cheshire Oaks outlet village. Be prepared to be scared rotten!
Scream-O-Ween Pom Poms – Tuesday 25th October
It’s time to go batty for crafty pom pom making at the Halloween crafty station. All little monsters will be invited show off their creative skills with their best creepy creatures.
Witch and Wizard School – Wednesday 26th October
Budding wizards and witches of Ellesmere Port are invited to enrol at the centre’s school of wizardry and witchery. Good witch, Gertrude, will put students through their paces and taught how to ride a broomstick, do the witch and wizard wand-wave and cast a spell around the cauldron.
Also, no witch or wizard would be complete without a statement hat. Take a trip to the hat making station where little ones can customise their very own hat ready to take home. Before leaving, every new witch and wizard will be rewarded with a certificate of approval for their new talent.
Monster Mash – Thursday 27th October
It’s the monster of all monster balls. Kids will take to the dance floor at the centre’s spooky disco where they will learn and show off their best monster moves followed by a Count Dracula dance off. Face painting and monster mask making stations will also be available to give a haunted makeover.
The big pumpkin patch – Friday 28th October
Go pumpkin crazy at the pumpkin patch craft station. Kids can design their own pumpkin face to win a bumper Halloween pack of goodies.
