IF YOU’RE IN THE NEIGHBOURHOOD, YOU’LL HAVE A FABULOUS TIME, IN GREAT COMPANY.

His & Hers was lucky enough to have an invite when Neighbourhood in Castle Street, Liverpool launched to much fanfare last year, and it has lived up to all expectations. It’s a vast elegant space: classic marble columns, and beautifully ornate ceilings meet modern, sleek, comfortable seating, and, as an additional fun element, there’s ‘heavenly’ neon signage. It’s a heady mix: and great choices: brunch, bottomless brunch, all day and dessert menus, and of course a bar that specialises in cocktails. It’s a fun venue on the doorstep of Liverpool ONE, and within the scope of the Business District: which means it’s a social hub with corporate facilities, and it’s the perfect venue for a party.

We discovered the Bottomless Brunch menu, at a personal shopper event at Topshop, where Neighbourhood’s outside catering were providing: champagne, canapés and a delicious fruity dessert. The Bottomless Brunch is a remarkable deal: you could opt for Eggs Benedict, possibly with ‘bottomless’ Bloody Marys, or Smoked Salmon, Avocado and Eggs, possibly with ‘bottomless’ Prosecco. The choice is yours: there’s a gentle reminder to drink responsibly and the price is right: £35pp.

There’s an All Day menu, with mouth-watering options: Crispy Duck with Watermelon and Beansprouts; Beetroot Salad with Buckwheat Tabbouleh & Crème Fraiche; and Lobster Taco with Guacamole. The Dessert menu is a joy: Knickerbocker Glory; Cinnamon sugared, fingered doughnuts with hot chocolate sauce and Sticky Toffee Puddings…they had me with Eggs Benedict and Bloody Marys, but it seemed only fair to roll out all the other tempting options. It’s a great place to go with friends; it’s a cool place to meet up for business or pleasure. It’s a perfect place to linger in the bar, and sample some fun-inspired cocktails. His & Hers look forward to seeing you there.
