At this time of year, families deserve to be able to enjoy Christmas with their loved ones. Ink bar, based on Wood Street in Liverpool city centre, is holding a charity event featuring a food tub this week to help local Liverpool residents do just that. This Thursday (19th December) the team at Ink are asking people to either bring three items of food per person or alternatively make a £5 donation on entry to their ‘Liars Club Charity Night.’ At the end of the night, whatever is in the Ink Bath (which is normally an Instagram and selfie favourite in the venue) food wise, will be matched by the venue. They will also match whatever has been donated across door entry too. Food collections and money will then be given to local food banks – to help bring some extra festive cheer this Christmas.

DJs on the night are Dom Townsend and Tom Buck and there will be a set by special guest, Lee Butler.

A spokesperson for Ink said: “The aim is to fill our ink bath with non-perishables and donate as much as possible. The weather has now dropped to freezing point and we are only a week away from Christmas, so we want to do our bit. We all know Liverpool looks after their own, so we hope Thursday is a huge success.”

Address: 78-82 Wood St, Liverpool L1 4DQ.
