WITH LIVERPOOL’S SPRING FESTIVAL JUST A FEW HOURS AWAY, THE HIS & HERS TEAM IS STARTING TO GET SERIOUSLY EXCITED…
Preparations for Liverpool Spring Festival are in full swing as the pop-up event returns to Sefton Park this weekend (28-29 April). The outdoor festival will be packed to the rafters with entertainment and family fun, as well as a huge selection of delicious food and drink.
Visitors can expect a giant outdoor food court, which will be brimming with international street food and there will be dedicated areas for craft beers, artisan gins, Prosecco and speciality coffees. There will also be a food producers’ market place full of tasty treats such as artisan breads, olives, hand made chocolates, traditional sweets and home made jams and chutneys.
Liverpool Spring Festival also features an artisan market, where visitors can pick up quirky gifts, hand crafted jewellery and original artwork from some of Merseyside’s most talented and creative independent businesses.
The festival includes a whole programme of workshops, offering tips on everything from gardening and growing your own vegetables to exercise, yoga, relaxation and meditation. There will even be a vegan and vegetarian cookery school running classes throughout the weekend.
Young visitors will be entertained with a vintage fairground, storytelling sessions, arts and crafts, donkey rides and a pop-up farm, where little ones can get up close to guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets and birds of prey. Children can also help bottle feed baby lambs and goats and there is even a 60 second cow milking challenge with prizes for the person who can produce the most milk from Daisy, the wooden cow.
The festival also features an entertaining sheep show, which is guaranteed to raise a smile as nine different breeds of sheep appear on stage, each with their own theme tune. Visitors will learn about the different breeds of sheep, the wool they produce and there will also be an opportunity to watch the skill involved in sheep shearing.

As we prepare to bring back some of our most popular attractions, we’re also looking forward to hosting some new additions at the event such as the pop-up vegan and vegetarian cookery school and our highly entertaining sheep show, which are both making their debut at this year’s event.
“It’s set to be a fantastic weekend and with so much going on there really will be something for everyone. We’re looking forward to seeing visitors soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying the fun.”
