'The Wanderer' mobile bar

IF YOU’RE DOING A SPOT OF PARTY OR WEDDING PLANNING OVER THE BANK HOLIDAY, YOU’LL WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THE NEW WORLD TRADING COMPANY’S ‘THE WANDERER’, THEIR FIRST EVER MOBILE COCKTAIL BAR.

The New World Trading Company (NWTC), the company behind The Club House, Smugglers Cove and the Botanist, to name but a few, has launched The Wanderer; a fun, vintage, fully kitted mobile bar that’s perfect for weddings, festivals and a whole host of other events.

The aptly named mobile bar started life as a Citroen HY van, but NWTC has used its expertise to convert it into a fully working-bar, serving a wide range of curious cocktails and world ale; giving guests a chance to discover its award-winning experience on the road.

The Wanderer can journey around the UK, and will arrive complete with NWTC’s famous bar experts, a multitude of unique spirits, craft beers and mixers. Cocktails will be The Wanderer’s main appeal and those who hire it can create a bespoke menu, choosing from a wide array of NWTC’s incredible cocktails and mocktails.

Nick Whitby, Head Of Bars at NWTC says: “We get inundated with requests asking if we can provide our cocktails and drinks for private celebrations. The Wanderer is perfect for this. The vehicle has been adapted to house a sleek bar but it also promises to deliver our highest standard of award winning cocktails and drinks no matter where the celebration is, up and down the country.”

The Wanderer is sponsored by Plymouth Gin, an authentic and artisanal gin with a distinctive smoothness that has been maintained for 220 years. Plymouth Gin was created in 1793 at the UK’s oldest working gin distillery and its unmistakably smooth, citrus-led flavour comes from the soft Dartmoor water and carefully selected botanicals, which include juniper, sweet orange and cardamom.

Magin Trewhella, Head of Marketing at Pernod Ricard UK, comments: “We’re delighted to be working with The New World Trading Company to launch this innovative and exciting new way for consumers to enjoy Plymouth Gin. The Wanderer is a natural fit for the brand as from its inception, the British Royal Navy consumed it on the move. Plymouth’s gentle yet complex flavour profile has long been acknowledged by bartenders as an ideal gin for cocktails, so it’s fantastic to be merging the excitement of a new venture with the heritage of the historic brand. We can’t wait for even more consumers to experience the super-premium gin in a variety of expertly-made cocktails.”

The Wanderer is available for hire now from £170 per day. Enquire at thewanderer@nwtc.uk.com or email carolyn@carolynhughes.com
