REGULAR READERS MAY HAVE SPOTTED THAT WE’RE BIG FANS OF LIVERPOOL RETREAT, NOURISH, SO WE WERE INTRIGUED TO HEAR THAT THEY’RE OFFERING THEIR OWN ALTERNATIVE TO GOLF THIS WEEK:

As more than 200,000 people descend on Royal Birkdale for the launch of the Open Golf Championship, scores of self-confessed ‘Golf Widows’ will be heading to this luxurious city hideaway.

Nourish, on Hatton Garden, has creating a bespoke package for those left ‘teed off’ with the golf. Grace McGinnis founder of the female-only lifestyle boutique, complete with spa, gym, treatment rooms and a yoga studio said: “Our luxurious getaway package allows members and guests to pamper themselves while their partners, husbands and friends watch or attend the tournament.”

With preliminary rounds already started at the global sporting event at one of the finest links courses in the UK, ‘Golf Widows’ can choose from a variety of treatments or from the special package, which includes a glass of Prosecco, use of the luxurious spa, a full body massage and a nourishing facial.

Grace added: “This package is intended to be a great bit of fun and also offer some serious r&r time for those women who don’t want to play or watch golf and fancy a treat instead.”

The Golf Widow package is £75 and is bookable only in advance.
