A rainy day tucked up in a hotel room can be lovely. Get some hot chocolate or a bottle of wine, and some of your favourite snacks and spend the day cuddled up together, eating, drinking and chatting. Sometimes rain gives you a great chance to simply be together. But, you might still want to go exploring or take a romantic walk in the rain. Pack waterproof coats and shoes, and don’t let a bit of rain stop you.

And Your Sunscreen

Recent summers have seen some of the hottest temperatures the UK has ever seen. So don’t just assume that your summer break will be a washout: pack sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat to protect yourself.

Light Layers

The weather is bound to be up and down, and even after hot days, the evenings could be mild. Pack lots of light layers, and loose-fitting clothes to make sure you are comfortable, whatever the weather.

Add Some Romantic Surprises

You might want to plan and book your holiday with your partner. Planning a break together is exciting, and it gives you both something to look forward to. But, that doesn’t mean that you can’t include some surprises. Book some tickets to a show or event and pack them in your partner’s bag, or pack a romantic present to show them how much you care.
