Chic Pony
Perfect for desk to dancefloor, “a sleek low ponytail with a deep side parting, exudes chic, ladylike elegance,” says Bruce.
How to achieve: Pull hair tightly into a low pony, which sits just on the nape of the neck and secure with an invisible band. Take a small section of hair out of the ponytail and wrap it around the band, securing with a pin. To finish, spray hair with a fine mist of Sassoon Professional Spray Shine (£17.00), for high definition shine and an immaculate finish.
Luxe Locks
Special occasion hair is all about polish and shimmering shine. “For contemporary glamour at its best, enhance the look with a low side parting and comb it all the way through for an impeccable finish,” says Bruce.
How to achieve: Creating volume starts before blow drying. A lightweight styling mousse such as Sassoon Professional Edit Body (£19.10) will give body and lift to your look. Once dry, wrap small sections of hair around a styling wand, securing each curl with a flat clip in a finger wave pattern. Let the hair cool while secured in this ‘S’ shape to lock in the wave.
