IS ANYONE ELSE FINDING THAT JANUARY’S FRUGALITY IS ALREADY STARTING TO WEAR A BIT THIN? AT HIS & HERS MAGAZINE, WE DON’T MIND ADMITTING THAT BEFORE EVEN REACHING THE MID-WAY POINT OF THE MONTH, WE’RE ALREADY DREAMING OF THE KIND OF LUXURIES THAT COME WITHOUT A BIG PRICE TAG. WHICH MEANS THAT FISHMORE HALL’S NEW YEAR OFFER IS RIGHT UP OUR STREET…
Ludlow’s Fishmore Hall is giving guests the unique opportunity to stay for free in January 2018 when they book the hotel’s exquisite seven-course tasting menu. Priced at just £75 per person, with complimentary bed and breakfast, guests can relax after the busy festive period and banish the January blues in style at the renowned boutique hotel.
Located in the heart of the rolling Shropshire countryside, Fishmore Hall is a beautiful 15-bed restored Georgian house, with individually designed bathrooms and unrivalled views.
Guests can savour a wonderful seven-course tasting menu, designed by new head chef, Joe Gould, in Forelles, Fishmore Hall’s fine dining restaurant. Joe has previously worked with John Campbell at Coworth Park and Olly Rouse at Lainston House, where he was awarded ‘Winner of Chaine des Rotisseurs UK Young Chef of the Year 2015’. He joined Fishmore Hall from Aurora Restaurant in Ipswich. Joe has also worked as London Development Chef at Rhubarb Food Design, developing dishes for venues such as Ascot, the London Eye and the Royal Albert Hall.
Those seeking the ultimate relaxation can add a pampering ELEMIS treatment in Fishmore Hall’s Spa. Nestled in the hotel’s stunning gardens, the SPAShell™, which recently celebrated its first anniversary, boasts four treatment rooms, which can be combined to create two couples’ rooms for indulgent shared treatments. There are also two thermal cabins, a steam room, sauna, outdoor Cedar hot-tub and oversized hammock on the decking. Ample relaxation space and an outdoor bucket and monsoon drench shower provide a refreshing and revitalising experience.
For guests wanting to blow away the winter cobwebs, the hotel is ideally placed to explore both the unspoiled Shropshire countryside and the historic market town of Ludlow, which is a culinary haven for foodies and is just a short walk away.
The package is priced at just £75 per person and includes the seven-course tasting menu, an overnight stay in one of the hotel’s elegant rooms and a full English breakfast. Prices are inclusive of VAT. To book please contact Fishmore Hall on 01584 875148 or visit www.fishmorehall.co.uk
