We’ve rounded up a few of our favourite Valentine’s present ideas for beauty lovers, which would be perfect to give as a gift, or to order for yourself, because frankly His & Hers suspects that at this stage in 2021, we could all do with a treat!
La Mer’s The Rejuvinating Hydrating Collection
Things we’ve learned this winter: a combination of central heating, chilly walks in the park, and hand sanitiser does not make for baby soft hands. This hydrating set includes La Mer’s ‘The Hand Treatment’ (50ml) & the moisturising ‘Lip Volumiser’ – perfect for treating parched hands and lips. If you take your skincare seriously and also appreciate products that look and feel luxurious while they’re working their magic, La Mer delivers on all counts. £90.
Cloud Nine The Original Iron Pro
If, like His & Hers, you’ve been using the same hair straighteners for years (and years!) it could be worth updating to one of the newer models, which have been designed to minimise damage to your hair. Cloud Nine’s The Original Iron Pro looks pretty in pink and features ‘Kinder Styling Technology’ to minimise heat damage and dragging – features that we may appreciate even more while waiting for the hairdressers to re-open! £249.

Anything from Jo Malone London!
You could ring in the changes with new fragrance Scarlet Poppy Cologne Intense, £86 for 50ml, send an e-gift card so that the recipient can indulge in a spot of online shopping, or choose an old favourite like Blackberry & Bay. Basically, we don’t think you can go wrong with Jo Malone London when it comes to gift giving.
Clinique Take The Day Off
Back in 2017, we road-tested Clinique’s popular Take The Day Off cleanser and wrote: “Yes, there are lots of great cleansers out there. But this one stands out for its lovely consistency, and for being gentle and effective in equal measure.” Years later, this is still a His & Hers beauty staple, as not only does it do a great job, it’s an absolute pleasure to use. Also, these days, it’s available from Next’s carefully curated online beauty selection (which we’ve been known to stalk when in need of some online beauty inspiration!) £26.
